Is Department of Telecom Bribed by Telcos?

I wonder whether telcos bribed Depart of Telecom (DoT) to regulate messaging and voice call apps.
(Whatsapp, Viber, Skype etc...).

DoT Regulating these apps only to safeguard the telecom companies. Wheras it is failed
to safeguard the conumers. It really creates a doubt whether telecom companies bribed
DoT to do so.

Each technology will help some business and will affect some business. Govt responsibility
is to see which is good for people and not which is good for telcos.

Many people, startups, SMEs in India extensively uses these apps. Regulating these apps will significantly affect many.

If we allow this today tomorrow they may charge us for emails too. (Not sure whether the current proposal includes Facebook, Twitter message as well).

I request Govt not to go ahead with the regulation proposal.

I appeal to all to raise their voice against regulating free messages and calls.

Why it is foolishness to blame Rahul for poll debacle?

Media and some Cong members criticize Rahul for congress's poll debacle.

It is utter foolishness to blame Rahul. He was neither Prime Minister nor Congress President in the last 10 years. If at all someone to be blamed it is Sonia and congress cabinet.

Knowing that Congress will fail in lok sabha, Rahul decided to campaign for it.It is a sheer bravery.

Leadership lesson to be learned from him for leading the Congress during the turbulent times. Rather than aligning with regional parties he was trying to build the party.It will benefit the party in the long run.

Though he is son of  Rajiv- Sonia he was elected as as Congress vice president only in January 2013. Just one year before the election. You cannot blame him for all the scams. Indiviudal ministers, PM and Congress president should be blamed for all the scams.

In my point of view enough time should be given to Rahul. He is seems to be more honest than any politician of today.

Where is humane?

When Jews attacked only Jews should raise voice?

When Muslims attacked only Muslims should raise voice?

When Christians attacked only Christians should raise voice?

When Hindus attacked only Hindus should raise voice?

When Tamils attacked only Tamils should raise voice?

When Dalits attacked only Dalits Should raise voice?

Why not all human raise voice against violence?

It is because every human being is in a circle. First they should come out of these circles.

These circles made up of race, caste and religion.

Everyone should come out of these circles and should think that everybody is human irrespective of their race, religion, and caste.

Peace and happiness will prevail in everybody’s heart and world only when this happen.

Have you come out of these circles?

What is the use of UNSC?

Can anyone enlighten me one good thing done by UNSC? Did they stop fight between israel and palestin? Did they stop the genocide of tamils in Srilanka? Did they get freedom for Aung_San_Suu_Kyi? (not sure whether she will be released tomorrow or day after tomorrow ) I really dont understand the role of UNSC especially related to SECURITY.

Live in relationship....A Cancer

Congress led Indian Government has done disservice to the people by recognizing live-in relationship. Moreover it has set a bad example for the rest of the world.

India is known for its culture and family values. If some people respect India it is because of these two things. They have spoiled our name.

Recognizing live-in relationship will encourage people to have live-in relationship.Live-in relationship is not good for the society and individuals too. Live- in relationships will create lot of problems in the future. It is a short sighted decision by the Government.

Government has taken this decision keeping in mind the some wealthy high class people and English media and not what is good for the nation as whole.

Live-in relationship will spoil the future generation. It is important for the government to de-legalize the live-in relationship.

Rest of India Should Learn Lessons from Tamil Nadu

1. In order to attract poor students to schools Kamarajar offered free meals to poor students…..MGR offered free meals to all the students……..Karunanidhi offered free eggs……….Jayalalitha offered free pulses and food grains.
2. Many people know that Tamil Nadu has more cinema theaters next to AP, what others do not know is that Tamil Nadu has more engineering colleges too. Tamil Nadu’s growth is result of good education.
3. As far as I know there is no single village in Tamil Nadu without electricity, TV and now Cellphone.
4. As far as I know, Tamil Nadu is the only state where 99% of the people stopped using caste or family name along with their names. (I agree still caste feelings are there but it is heading for a slow death).

There are several good things happenings in Tamil Nadu sure there are bad things too.

If you have good things in your state pls post, so that others can also come to know and implement that.

In India many people talk about equality and caste feelings. My humble question to them is why don’t you stop using your caste name along with your names?

What is wrong in giving Nobel peace prize to Obama?

Nobel foundation has awarded 2009 Nobel peace prize to Obama. Many people have raised question whether Obama deserves Nobel Prize?.

I think asking whether Obama deserves Nobel Prize is a wrong question. The question should be why Obama is awarded Nobel peace prize by Nobel foundation?
The Nobel foundation has given many reasons for awarding Nobel peace prize to Obama. But one reason which they gave is worth thinkable. They have stated that “the prize is awarded to encourage those who receive it to see the effort through”.
Then the obvious next question is why they are not encouraging people in other fields? Because in other fields people are awarded only after they prove or achieve something.
I think the Nobel foundation gives more importance to peace and that is the reason they “encourage” people. Because ‘peace’ cannot be compared with the other fields. Because peace is the mother of all, everyone in this world needs that.
So there is nothing wrong in encouraging a person who shows signs of bringing peace to the world. Encouragement should be based on his past actions, future vision and potential. I think Obama scores high on future vision and potential. But the question is whether the so far contributions by Obama are adequate to give him Nobel. I do not know the answer for that. At least do you know?
